Spicy? A Waiver? Another Hot Chicken Place in Minnesota

Alright, we all know how many chicken places are in the area, but one that does seem to be missing (surprisingly) is any sort of Nashville hot chicken in the form of a restaurant.

I'm not one for crazy spice where your mouth is on fire and your lips are totally numb.  But I know, some people really dig that sort of heat in their food.

According to Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine, Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken and Wings is opening a second location in Minnesota.  The first one opened a year ago in Inver Grove Heights, and now we are to get a second location in Edina.  Recently a location opened in Fargo, ND too.

Hangry Joe's is known for their spice, obviousy.  Look at the name of the restaurant, but they do have some levels of spice, and the hottest one, "Angry Spice" requires people to sign a waiver when they put in their order. This is according to Bring Me the News.

The "Angry Spice" is a dry rub.  Can those really be that hot?  I LOVE a Jamaican Jerk Spice, and in some places it's a dry rub and doesn't seem to have the kick that a sauce does.  But maybe that's just me.

Anyway, Hangry Joe's is looking to expand even further, maybe we'll get one here in St. Cloud.  Because we all know that we need another chicken place... maybe Hot Chicken will be just the thing we need.
