Starbucks Coffee Plans to Make a Big Change(s) This Year
Starbucks. Love them or hate them, or just indifferent, whatever it is, they are a giant and very successful coffee chain. People joke that you can find one on almost every corner. And that really isn't that far from the truth. They are everywhere. And if you like Starbucks, and you are willing to pay $5 or more for a cup of "fluffy" coffee, that is your prerogative.
If you do go to Starbucks on a regular basis, you probably have your favorite kind of coffee drink. Some of them can get fairly complecated too.

And that is one of the reasons that the new CEO is making this change.
And this "clearing the noise" isn't just referring to the beverages, it is also referring some of the food items.
This isn't going to happen right away, however. This will be a gradual change that will continue throughout the year of 2025.
Unfortunately, there was no mention of specific items. But if you have a regular order that isn't a complicated one, your favorite drink is probably safe. It is more than likely menu items that are not that popular and are just taking up space on the menu. It will help people from trying to sift through all of the complicated items that are even hard to figure out if you like them or not. SO MANY INGREDIENTS. It's not necessary.
Also - they are bringing back the condiment bar. That way you can add your own cream and/or sweetener if you would like. That was removed during the pandemic, and hasn't been back.
They are also no longer up charging for special milk other than dairy. This way, if you have an allergy, or just prefer not to drink cow's milk, you won't be charged more for that preference. That's a good thing.
