Might Be The Most Annoying Thing in St. Cloud – Just Stop
Road Construction. It's just a part of Summer in the Upper Midwest. There are always the jokes of only two seasons - winter and road construction. It can be inconvenient, but usually a very necessary thing to have happen. We need the roads, bridges and underpasses kept up. Not just for safety, but also for the well being of your car. Who wants potholes?
That is NOT the most annoying thing.

THE MOST ANNOYING THING
The most annoying thing - of course, in my opinion, is when cars are stretched through an intersection and someone in the back starts honking. Just what the actual... are you doing? Are you honking just to make yourself feel better? Where do you want people to go? If they could move, they would! STOP HONKING!
I get that people shouldn't be stretched through an intersection. It's super inconvenient. I know you probably had a green light, so you went through the intersection, but do you not see that traffic isn't moving? Just some observations.
MINDLESS HONKING
We were in Nashville last year and it was pouring rain. We were walking. Wasn't great, but one of these situations happened. Woman was just honking away because traffic wasn't moving. She was just on the street, not even in an intersection. Since I was walking, and looking like a drowned rat because of the rain, I just looked in her window at her, with a "what are you doing" look on my face. She looked at me like "what?? Stop honking, that's what. Do you think people are just sitting here because they want to? If they could go, they would. Just dumb.
THERE ARE TIMES WHEN YOU PROBABLY SHOULD GIVE IT A TAP
This isn't saying that you shouldn't maybe give a little tap when people don't move when the light turns green and there is plenty of room to go, and they just don't. Distracted driving. That's annoying too. Oh, and by the way, you could get a fine for honking in a non emergency situation. But I kind of wonder how much that is enforced.
BOTTOM LINE
Anyway - Stop Honking in intersections that are backed up. No on can move. Honking doesn't help.
