Foley defeated Eden Valley-Watkins twice Thursday to capture the Section 6-2-A baseball title. The Falcons defeated top seeded Eden Valley-Watkins 6-3 and 6-4 at Dick Putz Field.
The Little Falls baseball team needed two wins Wednesday to capture the section 8-3-A title and that's exactly what they got. The Flyers downed Rocori 6-1 in the first game at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud and then defeated the Spartans 13-9 in game two to captures the section championship.
The Sartell-St. Stephen baseball team has advanced to the section 8-4-A after posting a 11-7 win over Rogers in Rogers Tuesday. The Sabres scored 4 runs in the 7th inning to break a 7-all tie. Dylan Simones went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI, and Kade Lewis went 2-5 with 3 RBI.
The Foley Boy Scouts Troop 10 will be on hand from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the old waste-water treatment plant on Broadway Avenue South to help dispose of most household garbage.
The Foley Fire Department is sponsoring a Santa Parade in Foley Wednesday night. The parade route starting after 6pm will be to the south of the fire hall. The parade route starting at 7pm will be north of the fire hall.
