The University of Minnesota has extended the contract of Gopher football coach P.J. Fleck through 2023. The extension will become official pending approval from the Board of Regents at its December meeting. Terms of the contract extension are not immediately available.

The 14th ranked Gopher men's basketball team is 5-0 after a 100-57 win over Alabama A&M last night at Williams Arena. The Gophers had 5 players scored in double figures led by Jordan Murphy with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Devonte Fitzgerald with 13 points and 8 rebounds.

Jordan Murphy, Reggie Lynch and Amir Coffey each scored 18 points to lead Minnesota to the win. All five Gophers starters scored in double figures, with Murphy, Lynch and Nate Mason each posting double-doubles.
