Last month St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker reportedly stepped down as President a month before she was expected. Turns out that wasn't true. She joined me on WJON this week. Wacker indicated she is still President until June 30.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team defeated Western Michigan 5-1 Sunday night in St. Cloud in the deciding Game 3 of their NCHC Quarterfinal best of 3 playoff series. The Huskies won 5-2 Friday night, lost 6-1 Saturday before winning Sunday night.

Gas prices have been on the rise recently but St. Cloud State Economist King Banaian doesn't think that will continue. He joined me on WJON today. He says the reason for the rise in gas prices has to do with an electrical situation that happened at a plant in Indiana which took the biggest supplier of gas in the Midwest offline.
