Several Minnesota locations and businesses adopted the new state slogan Anthony Edwards offered up Sunday night after Game 7

The Timberwolves have taken a 2 games to none series lead on the Denver Nuggets in the NBA's Western Conference Semifinals best of 7 series. Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON. He believes last night's 106-80 win at Denver was the best Timberwolves win in 20 years.

The Timberwolves will play the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals starting Saturday, May 4.

The Timberwolves lost game 1 at Denver Sunday to open their playoff series with the Nuggets. The Wild open their first round series at Dallas tonight at 8:30, pregame on AM 1390/93.9 FM Granite City Sports at 8:15.

Other than that small gaff, AROD was saying all the right things and looking like someone who wants to keep the Timberwolves here in Minnesota.

The Timberwolves are set to play the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 2 of their first round NBA Western Conference series tonight at 7:30. The Wolves are not accustomed to being a part of the playoffs which may be why they don't have the most dedicated fan base.
