In this world that we are now in where pretty much everything is done virtually, we bring you the tour of the hotel from the Stephen King movie "The Shining".

The hotel in the movie was called the "Overlook Hotel".  But in real life it is called the Stanley Hotel.  It is located in Estes Park, Colorado and is really super creepy.  This is a walking tour of the hotel, complete with some creepy music to go with it.

I consider The Shining to be one of the scariest movies I've seen.  And, keep in mind that I have only seen the movie in an edited version.  So, I'm not sure how I would handle the original version.  Although, admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of scary movies.  Especially ones like this where it's just a regular guy who goes kind of nuts.  Like it doesn't seem that far fetched.... it could happen. Yikes!

Anyhoo- it you aren't a wuss, like me, you can actually go and check out this hotel...and stay a night if you'd like. Hard pass from me, however.  You can also check out the story of the hotel here.
