Of all the people I have met in my 30 plus years in radio, comedian, Sam Kinison was hands down the nicest, most down to earth and frickin funniest. I had a couple opportunities to interview Sam and actually rode around all night in a limo with him. Our job was to keep him awake for his appearance on the radio station's morning show. Evidently, Sam had missed his last appearance on the morning show because he had overslept. I always felt a bond with Sam. He was exactly 1 day older than me. Aside from his onstage antics, he was a very gentle and spiritual man. He is missed.
