The Loon Morning Show Rundown: Internet Delivers Justice for Pizza Guy [AUDIO]
As heard on the January 15th show:
1. Woman Throws Pork Products at Cops
Pork for pigs? That's what one women yelled after hurling meaty products from a donut box at a police station. Guess that's one way to insure you'll get a arrested.
2. Jesse In Make-Up?
Would love to see this. Jesse talked about the fact that his daughter loves to play with make-up and wants to give him a makeover. Please make this video happen, please make this video happen, please make this video happen. lol
3. The More Hours You Work, The More You Drink
You don't say?! No wonder we drink so much in radio. A new study says people who work more than 48 hours are more likely to pound the hard stuff. That's defined as 14 drinks or more a week for women and 21 or more for men. Sounds like a Saturday night.
4. Pointless Work Emails
We all get them. Blanket emails reminding you to welcome the new guy, or wish someone a happy birthday, but most of these work emails are pretty pointless when it comes to actually getting what you need to get done. After finding out how many people usually get throughout a years time (1,700!!), it does seem like a huge waste for people to have to rifle through them.
5. Notes Around the Workplace
After talking about pointless emails, it made us think of all the helpful notes that are posted around the station. You know, those what to and not to do type reminders. Lucy's mom used to do the same thing around their house. Do you have notes like this around your workplace? Home?
6. Winter Weather Life Hacks
Who knew that you could use bubble wrap to insulate your windows at home? Even though it looks like... well, kind of tacky, one hell of a money saver. Or that you can ice-proof your windshield with vinegar? Listen for more helpful hacks that will come in handy as we finish out the winter season.
7. Auto Sales Shop Screws Over Pizza Delivery Guy
One car dealership is experiencing some serious retaliation after posting a footage from their survielance camera of them screwing over a pizza delivery guy. They posted it with the title "irrate pizza guy", but found that the internet did not see it that way. Neither do we. These people treat this guy like garbage and even threaten to have him fired, because he stood up for himself. Karma online is a beeeeeeotch. The Yelp reviews coming in are priceless.
