Considering how many states in the country are in a state of economic flux, I'd say we Minnesotans are doing pretty well for ourselves. We actually rank as the 12th wealthiest state in the country, and the median household income is nearly $64,000. Not to mention we only have a 3.7% unemployment rate, which is the 9th lowest in the nation.

That's not bad at all. If you're content with your current financial situation, more power to you! But hey, maybe you aren't satisfied with your current situation and would like to look into other careers.Thankfully, there are a lot of opportunities available in the land of 10,000 lakes. So, today we're going to take a look at the top 10 fastest growing professions in Minnesota. Here we go.

Number one - Home Health Aid
Number two - Operations Analyst
Number three - Personal Care Assistant
Number four - Nurse Practitioner
Number five - Physician Assistant
Number six - Massage Therapist
Number seven - Credit Counselor
Number eight - Physical Therapist Assistant
Number nine - Residential Adviser
Number ten - Physical Therapist

Honestly, they all sound like pretty manageable jobs. If I had to pick one I suppose I would probably have to go with physical therapist. It doesn't seem quite as daunting as some of the others on the list. Plus the average physical therapist brings home about $86,000 a year. That's certainly not a bad living as far as I'm concerned. If you're at a point in life where you're thinking about changing careers, hopefully this list is of some use to you.
