Today happens to be National Waiters and Waitresses Day, a day we pay tribute to those that work so very hard to make sure you have an enjoyable experience.

I myself was a waiter briefly, but moved to being a bartender to avoid snapping and killing a customer. Some people can be real jackasses. I've always thought that everyone should have to work in the service industry for 6 months, just to get a taste of what a difficult job it actually is.

Here are a few things you DON'T want to hear from your server;

"Are you down with the 5 second rule?"

"We appreciate you coming in. It's been pretty slow since the outbreak"

"Validate your valet parking ticket? We don't have valet parking"

"The only thing baked here is the kitchen staff"

"Anyone allergic to horse meat?"

"A lot of our customers, don't get sick after eating here"

"You've obviously never been here before"

"Our food tastes just like Mom used to make before she quit her school cafeteria job"

Always remember to generously tip your server, they have voodoo dolls.
