We have all head about all the tornadoes that have been devastating some areas in Minnesota, and also in the heartland of the United States.  The weather has been a bit crazy this year to say the least.

We go from hot, Summer-like temperatures in May, to more of an early Spring feel in June with lots of crazy rain, tornadoes, straight line winds, uprooted trees, flash flooding more stuff that people generally don't enjoy.

TOO MUCH RAIN

Do we need rain?  Absolutely.  On average, during the Summer months, Minnesota needs about an inch of rain per week to keep from getting too dry and sending up into another drought situation.  But we don't need it all at once.

MORE ROUNDABOUTS MEANS MORE TORNADOES

Now, and I have heard this before, and it's still just as ridiculous.  The idea that the roundabouts area causing the tornado outbreak.  This is so dumb.  Roundabouts have been around for a very long time.  And the idea that they could cause a tornado is a little crazy.  And, how do youi explain tornadoes before the roundabouts?

This video is silly, and entertaining, but still doesn't prove that a roundabout is going to cause a tornado.

FROM NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC

...tornadoes are born in thunderstorms and are often accompanied by hail. Giant, persistent thunderstorms called supercells spawn the most destructive tornadoes.

These violent storms occur around the world, but the United States is a major hotspot with about a thousand tornadoes every year.

WHERE ARE THE MOST TORNADOES

I have always thought that the most tornadoes are in either Kansas or Oklahoma.  But, Texas actually holds the record for the most tornadoes.  Texas has an annual average of 120 tornadoes.
