I think we can all agree that Christmas music isn’t exactly all that great. I love the holidays as much as the next guy, but when the same cheesy tunes are shoved down your throat from November 1st until January year after year, it gets a little old. Many have tried and failed to make Christmas music cool and contemporary.

There’s just something about the nature of those songs that make them difficult to modernize. However, there is one group that has successfully made Christmas tunes and classical music cool. I’m talking about the one and only – Trans-Siberian Orchestra. In my opinion, they’re one of the most original groups out there.

If you haven’t heard them before, do yourself a favor and do a quick YouTube search. It’s hands down the coolest symphonic music you’ve ever hear. They will be playing two dates at the Xcel Energy Center. One on December 29th at 3 pm and the other December 30th at midnight. You can order tickets online now.
