Journey’s Final Frontier Show Coming to Minnesota in 2 Weeks
The time is getting so close. It's one of those things that I have made the mistake of a few times. What I'm talking about is when you have an opportunity to see a great band that you think may still be back another time other than this time.
THIS WILL BE YOUR LAST OPPORTUNITY TO SEE JOURNEY - PROBABLY
Journey is retiring. At least that is what they have stated several times - hence the name of the tour; Final Frontier. They started back in 1973 by former members of Santana and the Steve Miller Band, with Steve Perry as their lead singer. Such an awesome voice. Time went on, Perry left the band and went solo. He had some mild success - but not like he had with Journey. Since then, Journey hired Arnel Pineda. Hiring a new lead singer can be so tricky. But Pineda sounds almost identical to Steve Perry. Enough that he has fronted the band for longer than Perry did. Crazy, right.
Now, Pineda doesn't want to tour anymore, and the rest of the band has decided he's right. So this will end where it started - San Francisco. Think of the song "Lights". It's an ode to San Francisco.
