Looking for a Real Christmas Tree? Options in the St. Cloud Area

There is something kind of magical about getting a real tree for Christmas.  And it can be even better when you go and cut your own tree.  Or, even head out to a tree farm and pick out the perfect one, and have someone else cut it down for you.  That is what I would do.  Reason - well, if I was the one cutting down my own tree it would be a disaster.  It would either fall on me, or be completely crooked.  Something would not go well.  So, even though it would be fun to cut one down myself - I'm going to leave that to someone else who has way more experience.

There are quite a few tree farms in the area.

B and J Evergreen  - Clear Lake

Family-owned cut-your-own Christmas tree farm with decades of tradition. 🌲 Offering beautiful trees and a memorable holiday experience. Join us this season to create lasting memories and continue the tradition.

Rothstein Tree Farm is located outside of St. Joe.  You can follow them on their Facebook page for days and hours that they will be open.

WEE TREES CHRISTMAS TREE FARM  - Royalton

See Wee Trees on Facebook! Growers of high quality, farm fresh Christmas trees and winter greens. We harvest and make all of our wreaths, garland, porch pots, etc. from products grown here on the farm. Several varities of Christmas trees. Located 5.5mi W of Royalton, 1.5mi E of Bowlus – just off Nature Road. Wee Trees is open seasonally.

PETERSON TREE FARM - Clear Lake

Peterson Tree Farm is scheduled to open later this month with a visit with Santa!  Bring your camera and visit on November 28th and 29th from 10:30 to 12:30 and also on December 6th from 9:30 to 11:30.

JAN'S TREE FARM - Clear Lake

Starting this weekend, November 22nd, they will be open daily from 9-5pm, closed on Thanksgiving Day.  Plus they have a bunch of other fun activities for the entire family.  Check out their website for more information.

HINKEMEYER TREE FARM - Rice

Located in Rice, currently they are open weekends and the Friday after Thanksgiving from 9-5 and on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving from 11-6pm and December 5th from 11-6pm.  They also have some special events throughout the season.  Check their website for details.
