ROCKFORD -- Two people are hurt after a two vehicle crash in Wright County Tuesday morning.

The incident happened just before 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 55 and Main Street in Rockford.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 62-year-old Luann Ryks, of Howard Lake, was heading east on Highway 55 attempting to turn left onto Main Street, when she hit a Chevrolet Silverado in the intersection heading west.

The Chevrolet ran off the road and struck a pedestrian post at the stop light.

Ryks was taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle, 38-year-old Dennis Fogarty of Plymouth, also suffered non-life threatening injuries.
