HGTV Ugliest House in America – St. Cloud Featured Twice – Won Once
Could we (St Cloud area) "win" and make it a three-peat?

HOW IT WORKS
HGTV goes around the country every year looking for the ugliest houses in America. There is a "winner" for each region in the United States. They have found some ugly houses a couple of times right here in this area. In 2022 it was the Poseidon House. Last year it was the Barbie House.
HOW COULD THIS ONE NOT WIN THE GRAND PRIZE
Even though the Poseidon House didn't win the Grand Prize, which would have brought on the $150,000 remodel, the grand prize went to some other house. We all know (not officially) but we know that the reason that the Poseidon House didn't win for the remodel was because it would cost much more than the $150,000 budget. Just a theory, but that has to be it. There's no way another house was uglier than that one. Luckily it has been somewhat remodeled since then. Not by HGTV, however.
THIS ONE WAS THE WINNER LAST SEASON
Last season, it was the Barbie House on Riverside Drive. The Pepto-Bismol looking house won the Grand Prize, and received the $150,000 remodel. Now, it looks pretty amazing.
Here we are on another season of HGTV's Ugliest House in America. And I'm just wondering what house in this area will win again. Will it be another one from Minnesota? I'm sure they are looking considering that we have had 2 contenders in the last few seasons. And what does that say about us? Ummmmm.....
NEW SEASON
The series is currently airing. Check listings for when/where you can watch it. I'm sure if you don't have regular cable, streaming is also available. It's fun to watch a house transformation. Gives me all the feels and makes me want to do things with my own home. Who's running deals on home improvements??
