UPDATE: Driver Arrested, Jailed After Pickup Crashes Into Zimmerman Business
ZIMMERMAN -- Authorities have arrested the man they say is responsible for crashing into a Zimmerman building, injuring five people Monday.
Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott says 63-year-old Robert Johnson, of Zimmerman, was arrested and booked into the Sherburne County Jail for Criminal Vehicular Operation.
It's believed alcohol was a factor in the crash that caused Johnson to drive his pickup into the Reliant Systems building on Fremont Avenue.
The victims hurt in the crash were 51-year-old Kim Mills of Anoka, 47-year-old Heidi Olerich of Zimmerman, 44-year-old Michael Milano of Zimmerman, and 51-year-old Daniel Elliot of Hamburg.
The four victims were taken to the hospital. A fifth victim was taken to the hospital by a private party and was treated and released.
