UPDATE: More Minnesota “Triple D” Restaurants Revealed

UPDATE: We now know which other restaurants Guy Fieri was visiting and featuring on his Diners Drive - Ins and Dives show on the Food Network.

According to Bring Me the News, the other restaurants that will be shown after the Stepchld episode runs this weekend will be these:

Those include Hai Hai, Union Hmong Kitchen, Guacaya Bistreaux, Oro by Nixta, and OG Zaza.

Hai Hai episode wll air November 1st at 8pm.  Union Hmong Kitchen episode will air on November 8th at 8pm.  Guacaya Bistreaux will air on November 15th at 8pm.  The episodes for Oro by Nixta and OG Zara haven't been announced.  And I'm not sure any of these restaurants could be considered a Diner, Drive - In or Dive, they all could be considered higer end restaurants. Regardless, I want to try them all.

Any time I'm traveling to a new city/state, I usually check to see if there is a restaurant that was featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives in the area.  I watch the show quite often, and usually there is something that is quite enticing.  So why not seek it out if you are in the area?

This time, the restaurant is here in Minnesota.

In August, Guy Fieri was seen around Minneapolis, but no one knew for sure which restaurant he was focusing on.  Now, we know.  And the show will be aired this weekend, October 18th and 19th on the Food Network.  The restaurant that will be featured for these episodes is Stepchld which is an Ethiopian inspired restaurant located in Northeast Minneapolis.

The episode will feature chef and owner Kamal Mohamed hanging out in the kitchen with Fieri, collaborating on the restaurant's Sinful Bone Marrow and Lavender Nori Shrimp.

Since Fieri was seen in Minnesota for a few days, the thought is that he may feature a few other restaurants on the show, but as of right now, that remains a mystery.  It will be exciting to see what else shows up on Diners Drive Ins and Dives.

My curiosity is definitely piqued.  Also - generally at the end of the show Fieri will promote where he will be headed on the next episode.  Hopefully it's somewhere else in the area... now we wait.
