It's been a rough year for Valleyfair, they weren't able to open for the 2020 season and didn't do their popular Halloween event, but they will welcome guests for one event this year.

The theme park will play host to 'Christmas in Color,' a drive-thru light display with over 1 million LED lights that are synchronized to holiday music that you listen to on your car radio. The display is stretched out over a 1-mile course.

The display is open nightly (except Thanksgiving & Christmas day) November 27th through January 3rd from 5:30 PM - 10 PM Sunday - Thursday and 5:30 PM - 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are on sale now here and are $30 per car.

Each night is broken up into 30 minute blocks, you'll need to arrive withing in time frame that you picked when you buy tickets, admission is not guaranteed if you arrive after your scheduled time.

 

'Christmas in Color' says you'll experience "giant candy canes, snowmen, arched pathways and more" on your drive through the display. 'Christmas in Color' is also in 5 other cities across the country located in Utah, Idaho, Colorado and California.

Valleyfair joins the Minnesota State Fair and Bentleyville to offer a drive-thru holiday lighting display this year in response to strict event guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
