What To Expect At Valleyfair's Halloween Events This Fall

Minnesota's favorite amusement park will become a spooky site beginning next month when Valleyfair becomes "ValleyScare" through the end of October.

WHEN DOES VALLEYSCARE OPEN?

ValleyScare bills itself as the region's largest Halloween attraction. Boasting five haunted mazes, seven scare zones and live entertainment, the event runs on select nights from September 13th through October 31st.

In addition to ValleyScare, Valleyfair will host its "Tricks and Treats" weekends as well, beginning on September 19th. The Tricks and Treats events are family-oriented daytime Halloween parties that are not meant to be scary.

KID FRIENDLY

Tricks and Treats includes themed activities, live entertainment, festive game and fall-inspired food and drinks, along with a costume contest for kids.

Tricks and Treats weekends begin on September 19th. One admission allows visitors to stay for both the ValleyScare event and the Tricks or Treats event if desired.

There is an additional charge for the haunted mazes.

Haunted mazes will only be accessible to guests with the purchase of a Haunted Attraction Pass. The introduction of this event pass reflects a new chapter of scares at ValleyScare, driven by haunted maze enhancements and the introduction of new scares designed to improve the guest experience during this event.

Those seeking the heart-pounding terror of the park’s haunted mazes can enhance their visit with the purchase of a Haunted Attractions Pass, while those seeking night rides, scare zones and live entertainment only require park admission.

Tickets for the event start at $30 and vary based on date.
