The Recording Academy sent out a press release regarding the 'Grammy Nominations Concert Live' that will happen November 30th. The release promised an announcement from a "truly iconic group regarding their reunion on the Grammy stage February 12th."

Looks like the Grammys will start the countdown to a new Van Halen album. Shortly after the press release came out an official Grammy tweet followed saying "Does this hint make you want to 'Jump' and 'Dance the Night Away'?" Obviously they aren't trying too hard to keep this a secret.

David Lee Roth rejoined the band for the first time since 1984 on the upcoming Van Halen album that is reportedly finished and expected to be released next spring. So it would make sense for the band to premier a song on the Grammys which will air on CBS February 12th. It's also rumored that the band will go out on tour starting in February.

This supposed new album from Van Halen has sure caused a lot of hype so far. I hope it all goes down as planned or there will be a lot of disappointed fans.
