The Minnesota Vikings and defensive end Jared Allen officially parted ways over the weekend. The move is no surprise, and I think it was time for the relationship to end. Just seemed to me that his production was way, way down last season. This should be an interesting free agent week.

The Vikings re-signed defensive end Everson Griffen to a five-year deal worth $42.5 million.
