Was ABC Right to Fire Roseanne?
Unless you just pulled out of a coma or have been away from any kind of media, you most likely know that the Roseanne reboot has been cancelled and reruns of her old shows have been pulled from various networks.
Roseanne was fired for a racist tweet she sent out a couple of nights ago. She recently said it was an "Ambien tweet" and has apologized.
Not only did Roseanne get canned but the entire cast, ready for a second season, is now out of work.
I see ridiculous statements on the internet like "She was off the clock, it's none of ABC's business" and a variety of things to that effect. I don't know about you but if I did something outside of work that negatively reflected on my place of employment, I'd most likely be canned or at least suspended.
So, what do you think? Should she have been fired?
