What’s the First Thing You Know?

I was in a doctor's waiting room recently reading a magazine article titled "The First Thing You Know".  It talked about being born and the first thing you know after being born.  I was amazed when I found out what it was.  Take a guess and I'll reveal the answer tomorrow.
