When Movies Freak Me Out I Research The Actors

I know it might sound strange, or childlike.. but that's how I've always gotten through a scary movie.  Any kind of creepy, horror, or just straight up scary movies have never really been my thing.  The Shining... I saw that when it was on TV and it completely freaked me out.  Still does, actually.  I cannot imagine how awful that one was in the theatre.  Weirdly, the Exorcist, which I had heard was the scariest movie to pretty much everyone, didn't really freak me out that much.  It might be because of the hype that one got over the years, but I didn't think it was all that bad.  Weird, and uncomfortable, yes.  But the scariest movie of all time.  Nah.

So, now, The Nun.  It is part of the Conjuring series of movies, and everyone says it's not that bad.  But the trailer for the movie makes me want to cover up with a blanket... or just look away.  It's scary!!  So, I researched the cast.  Who is playing the Nun?  Well, she looks much less intimidating.  But also looks like she could be her, for sure!

Little creepy, right?  Her name is Bonnie Aarons.  She has been in other scary movies.  Drag Me to Hell and The Conjuring.  But then she has also been in The Princess Diaries.

But I still think she makes the best scary character.  I don't feel any better researching the cast this time.  I'm not going to this flick.  You have fun... Byeeeeeeeee!
