The Minnesota Wild (33-20-7) beat the New Jersey Devils (31-22-8) 4-2 tonight at the Prudential Center in Newark. With the win the Wild rise above the wild card discussion into 3rd place in the Central Division.

A lackluster start by Minnesota led to a 2-0 New Jersey lead before Mike Reilly (2), Joel Eriksson Ek (3), and Chris Stewart (9) turned things around with three straight goals in the second period.
