US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is inviting exercise enthusiasts to come to the home of the Vikings for a workout! The 'Winter Warm-Up' will offer a chance for folks to get in some indoor running or in-line skating beginning on December 5th.

The Metrodome in Minneapolis used to host a roller skating event as well, much to the chagrin of former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka, who referred to the stadium as "RollerDome" before his Bears took on the Vikings in 1987.

US Bank Stadium will offer inline skating on the main concourse. No rentals will be available and there will be a special hour for 'speed skating.' Everyone over the age of three will need a ticket, which starts at $11.50.

The quantity of tickets is limited per night to ensure enough room for everyone to exercise.

Open skating happens from 5-8 p.m. and speed skating happens between 8-9 p.m..

No rentals are available on site so prospective skaters are asked to bring their own skates and safety equipment, including a helmet.

Running will be held on the upper concourse and, this is important, NO STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED!

Tickets for this event cost $11.50 plus fees.
