Hard to believe it's almost been 50 years since the greatest rock festival ever. I doubt there will ever be anything as epic as Woodstock was in 1969.

Check out this festival lineup for Woodstock. Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Santana, Canned Heat, Mountain, The Grateful Dead, CCR, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin, 10 Years After, The Band, Johnny Winter, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and closing out the festival was Jimi Hendrix.

Hendrix was scheduled to close out Woodstock late Sunday night but due to scheduling delays, Hendrix didn't go on stage until 9 AM Monday morning when most everyone had gone home.

There was a story going around about Carlos Santana and his band ingesting some hallucinogenics before going on stage. There were actually scheduled to play later but got bumped up due to scheduling screw ups.

Santana pulled it off in great fashion. Check out the video below from Woodstock and tell me that the drummer from Santana isn't tripping.
