World’s Largest Hockey Stick

Jesse & I had the chance to visit Eveleth, Minnesota and get up close and personal with the World's Largest Hockey Stick last week.

This thing is pretty massive!

Originally, the stick was weighed 7,000 pounds back in 1995 when it was originally placed.  Due to structure issues and safety, the town had a new stick made.  That's the stick you see on display today.

Still massive.  WAIT.  Massive..er?  Seriously.  The new hockey stick weighs 10,000 pounds.  That's 5 tons!!  The hockey puck weighs in at 700 pounds.  Good luck taking a slapshot with that monster!
