This Minnesota kindergarten teacher had hundreds of students over many years, and she recognized one of her past students on KARE 11 TV 30 years later.

According to USA Today, Cory Hepola was the morning host on KARE 11 Sunrise last spring when he was recognized by one of his favorite Perham Elementary School teachers. His former teacher sent his parents a note in the mail about seeing him on TV.

Lorly Schik retired from the school district in 1989, and is now 90 years old, but still has a memory of her students from all those years. She even keeps school pictures, and shared some of them with Cory after he stopped by her assisted living residence.

Teachers are some of the most special and influential people to our children, and it's teachers like Mrs. Schik that every teacher hopes to be.

I don't remember my kindergarten teacher and wouldn't know if she'd recognize me from being on the radio, but that would be one of the coolest reunions in my opinion. Do you think your kindergarten teacher would recognize you decades later?
