Yes, You Too Can Walk on Water With These New Jesus Shoes (video)
I had to check just to make sure Joel Osteen wasn't behind this "scam". He isn't but a Brooklyn based creative arts company MSCHF is.
According to the company's head of commerce, Daniel Greenberg, MSCHF purchased a regular pair of Nike Air Max 97 sneakers at market value, about $160. They then put holy water, from the River Jordan, in the air pockets of soles and even added a golden Jesus on a crucifix as a shoelace charm.
Before the holy water was added to the shoe's soles, it was blessed by a real priest. If you'd like a pair of these walk on water Jesus sneakers, you may want to sell one of your kidneys. They are selling for anywhere from $1425 to $4000.
