You Betcha They’re Always Side-by-Side! Menards & Culver’s
This is going to sound like I am going nuts, and maybe I've been standing too close to the microwave, but have you ever noticed that there always seems to be a Culver's within 'spittin' distance of a Menards store? It's a phenomenon that seems to be a regular thing here in the North Star State.
A Reddit post on the topic of Minnesota had this very question posted. The original poster asked if it was a known thing that Menards and Culvers go side by side in most communities.
Has anyone noticed that in both Baxter and Elk River that there is a place with both a Culver's and a Menards with the Culvers being diagonally placed from the Menards? If I had a dime for every time that happened, I would have two dimes, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Well, it's more than just those two communities, right here in Central Minnesota, we see a Menards across the street from a Culver's in Waite Park, down in Maple Grove, you can find the local Culver's in Menards' parking lot!

Now there doesn't seem to be a hard and fast rule with this, but where there is smoke there is fire right?
But the next time you stop by your local Menards, take a look around and see if you can see the familiar blue and white of a Culver's, you might be surprised by just how close it is.
Is there any other business pairing that does this?
