Zimmerman Man Hurt in Crash With Semi in Sherburne County
ZIMMERMAN -- A Zimmerman man is hurt after rolling his vehicle in Sherburne County early Monday morning.
The incident happened just after 5:30 a.m. on Highway 169 in Baldwin Township, north of Zimmerman.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 62-year-old David Chambliss was driving a semi when he made a lane change into the left lane. At the same time another vehicle, driven by 32-year-old Jonathan Riisager, was in the left lane making a lane change into the right lane, when he lost control, rolled and went in front of the semi causing the two to hit.
Rissager was taken to North Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening. He was not wearing his seatbelt.
Chambliss was not hurt.
