$5 Footlong May Be Going Away.

Yes, if you are a fan of the $5 footlong sandwich at Subway, it might be going away.  But it kind of depends on where you are and what store you purchase them from.  That's why I say it MAY be going away, because not in every place with that be the case.

The beloved sandwich went away for a short time, then was brought back over a winter.  Some people were delighted that it was back, while others were very upset.  We are talking the people in the actual franchises.  Apparently in some areas, the $5 footlong has a very slim margin.  Other places it's different.  Like, for instance, if you compare California with something like Kansas.  Or compare Minnesota or anywhere, for that matter, with Hawaii.  Obviously, there is going to be a difference.

So, Subway's CEO decided that it would be up to the actual location to decide what they would like to do.  Go with the $5 footlong sandwiches or go with something else, like a panini.

Which would you rather have?
