’69 Woodstock Performers, Where Are They Now Part 3 Of 3 – Ravi Shankar [VIDEO]
Ravi Shankar is the father of the beautiful and talented Norah Jones. Ravi is/was recognized as the best sitar player in the world. His invite to perform would come at the hands of his past collaborating with The Beatles, George Harrison and from his previous appearance at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967.
Many referred to his music as psychedelic but that was never his intention but the audience loved it, I mean those on illicit substances if you catch my drift.
Ravi already had 16 albums prior to Woodstock, then 20 more after at least up to 2007. Ravi passed away in December 2012.
