A great band for the 'Flowerchild", Sweetwater were coming off an all time high after touring with The Doors and Eric Burdon and The Animals.Sweetwater probably were the innovators of the psychedelic movement which eventually was adopted by The Jefferson Airplane (a lot of similarities).

Tragic story as shortly after Woodstock Nancy Nevins (lead vocals) was in a severe car crash that left her brain and vocal chord damage, as for the band that pretty much put the last nail in the coffin for the band.

Alan Malarowitz (drums) died in a car crash in the '80's, he was 31.

Albert Moore (flute/vocals)  died of lung cancer in 1994.
