I happen to be a fan of all things of the 1970s. I’m convinced that I was born in the wrong era. I like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Aerosmith, and I even grow my hair out like a punk. Why oh why did I have to be born in 1993?

It’s a true tragedy. But hey, that doesn’t mean that I can’t pretend I’m living in the 70s. I take any opportunity I can to go out and watch 70s tribute bands. I’ve seen Zed Leppelin and The Fabulous Armadillos on several occasions over the past couple of years. It’s always a good time.

I’m definitely looking forward to see the 70s Magic Sunshine Band perform June 28th. They’ll be covering The Doobie Brothers, 3 Dog Night, Ace Frehley and several other artists. You can catch them at West Bridge Park in Monticello at 9 pm, free of charge.
