Amber Alert Issued for Missing Meeker County Girl [Photos]

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 5 year old Meeker County girl, last seen at her home in Watkins last night -- believed to have been taken this morning by a family friend. Alayna Ertl is a white female, 45 pounds with shoulder-length sandy brown hair. The suspect is Zachary Todd Anderson -- white male, 5'10", 200 pounds, dark hair.

Anderson is possibly wearing wearing a black t-shirt with a drawing of a rat with a mug of beer, saying “Riverside Tavern, Forest City, MN. Home Of The River Rats.” When last seen Anderson had a shaggy short beard.

It is believed that Anderson is driving a white 2002 GMC Sierra, with Minnesota plates 107 KMT.

Anderson was staying overnight at the residence. Alayna was put to bed at 2 AM. Her mother discovered Alayna and the suspect were gone at 8 AM this morning. The vehicle is the father’'s work truck which also contained the father’'s cell phone. Phone was last pinged at 9 AM this morning in Todd County, and has since been shut off.

Authorities ask that you do not approach the suspect if spotted, but instead call the Meeker County Sheriff's office at 320-693-5400 or 911.
