You  may have owned the material on vinyl or 8 track, but now Black Sabbath is available on iTunes.

My friend Earl Root is probably rolling over in his grave at this news, seeing has how he was the King of Vinyl and even had an entire record store devoted to it.

Bringing the 70’s into the 21st Century, Apple and Black Sabbath have reached an agreement to make Black Sabbath’s material available in digital format. The agreement, by the way, marks the first time fans in the U.S. have been able to access their work in a digital format.

Tony Iommi said that fans have been begging for their stuff to go digital and he has always spent “a long time trying to explain to fans why” they hadn’t gone digital, but adds that he’s happy it has finally happened. Ozzy agrees that this was long overdue.

Fans can now download Paranoid, Masters of Reality, Vol. 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sabotage, Technical Ecstasy, Never Say Die in digital format and even their last record, 13 is available.

Will you download it?
