Black Sabbath says they will continue on without Bill Ward. As I mentioned on the air yesterday, and was reported in a story here, Bill  said he would not agree to a full-fledged reunion of Sabbath unless he was, as he put it in a letter on his website:

"Offered a “signable” contract that financially reflects my contributions to the band’s history."

He went on to say;

"If I’m replaced, I have to face you, the beloved Sabbath fans. I hope you will not hold me responsible for the failure of an original Black Sabbath lineup as promoted. Without fault finding, I want to assure everyone that my loyalty to Sabbath is intact."

Today, a post from the band's official Facebook page said;

"We were saddened to hear yesterday via Facebook that Bill declined publicly to participate in our current Black Sabbath plans...we have no choice but to continue recording without him although our door is always open... We are still in the UK with Tony. Writing and recording the new album and on a roll... See you at Download!!!- Tony, Ozzy and Geezer"

So it looks as if Sabbath will tour, but not in it's original form. I'm ok with that, I say give Vinnie Appice a call. He provided the skins bashing on the 'Mob Rules' album
