Casey Kasem’s Funeral Will Be Held This Weekend

Casey Kasem's children are planning a memorial for their father this weekend. 

Now that the long, intense legal battle over Casey Kasem is over, Casey's children from his first marriage; Kerri, Mike and Julie Kasem are planning a memorial service this weekend for their dad.

A rep for the family released a statement saying that Casey's funeral would be held on Friday, though Jean never confirmed that, nor have any details been released about any sort of funeral or public memorial.

Family spokesperson Danny Deraney says that Casey's children are planning a private memorial service and it's so private that the location isn't even being released to protect the privacy.

Casey died Sunday after being stricken with Lewy Body disorder. He was 82.
