After experiencing some knee discomfort during OTAs, Minnesota Viking linebacker Chad Greenway underwent an MRI that showed he would need surgery to clean up cartilage on one of his knees. The successful arthroscopic procedure took place last Wednesday.

Worrisome Minnesota fans have been assured that Greenway is expected to be ready to go before the start of Vikings training camp which cranks up in late July.

This will be Greenway's seventh season as a starter for the Vikes. He played at the University of Iowa before being Minnesota's first round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.
