Craft Beer Becoming Popular Choice Among Consumers [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD — The popularity of craft beer is increasing nationwide and bars in the St. Cloud area are embracing the movement. Sales of craft beer nearly doubled in the past five years, increasing from $5.7 billion in 2007 to $12 billion in 2012.
One issue nationally is that the majority of craft beer is consumed by the 25 to 34 demographic, but Assistant General Manager Philip Cook of Old Capital Tavern in Sauk Rapid, says there is a wide range of consumers in the local area.
