I honestly don't really know who the king of late night is anymore, but David Letterman is right up and has a lot of tenure.

David is a 21 year veteran and with him retiring from CBS in 2015, no doubt late night talk shows will be reshaped.

In referring to his long time Band Leader Paul Shaffer, "What this means now, is that Paul and I can be married."

Letterman's been hosting the show since 1993.

The recent shuffle of late night we find Jimmy Fallon taking over the "Tonight Show" from Leno and former "Saturday Night Live" head writer Seth Meyers started on "Late Night"  NBC.
