After several weeks worth of postponed and canceled shows due to "doctor's orders", Dickey Betts is talking about what's keeping him off the road.

Allmann Brothers Band guitarist Dickey Betts has been postponing shows left and right, blaming his poor health. Now he's talking about what's been going on.

His manager, David Spero took to Facebook says that Dickey has undergone a number of tests and biopsies and the good news is that everything came back negative for cancer. He also says, "He is getting stronger every day and should resume touring next month." The shows until then are all canceled.

Dickey is expected to resume touring next month and will be making up as many shows as possible that were canceled due to his health. For now, Dickey is expected to get "some relief from the problems that put those tests in motion." David promised that he would keep everyone posted on what was happening with Dickey and how he's feeling sometime this week.
