The Eagles aren't going back to school, but they are being given honorary Doctorate degrees, however if Joe Walsh asks to play doctor, you should still say no.

The Berklee School of Music is giving The Eagles an honorary Doctorate degree for their career achievements, influence and overall impact on our culture. Besides Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey, and Timothy Schmidt, another recipient of the honor this year is bluegrass cutie Alison Krauss. You may be familiar with the name because she collaborated with Robert Plant. Their record Raising Sand won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2009.

Others who have been given an honorary Doctorate from Berklee include B.B. King, Paul Simon, Phil Collins, Ahmet Ertegun and Sting. The degrees will be handed out during the Berklee College of Music's commencement ceremony on May 12 in Boston.
