Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie of Fleetwood Mac will return to the road in 2013. There are no dates officially scheduled, but all parties have agreed on a tentative schedule of rehearsals, while keeping open the possibility of also creating new music.

Nicks tells ABC Radio that the band will go into rehearsals in February, with an eye on shows in April or May. They could also toss song ideas around, not for an album of new music but for a greatest hits collection.

“Well, actually, maybe like two songs, maybe four, who knows," tells ABC Radio. "We don’t really know yet ’cause we’re not in the world of Fleetwood Mac yet.” The singer is actually reiterating comments she made in July, but a rumored 2011-12 tour fell apart so it's good to hear reconfirmation.

The band hasn't toured since 2009 as individual members pursued solo projects. 2013 will be the 45th anniversary of their first album. However Buckingham and Nicks didn't join the band until 1975. Fleetwood Mac's famous self-titled album was released later that year and 'Rumours' was released in 1977. 2003's 'Say You Will' was the band's last studio album.
