If you miss Fleetwood Mac, pine no more. They’re hitting the road in 2012.

Drummer Mick Fleetwood said in an interview with Billboard.com that the group, “Will be working” in 2012 but gave no specific details as to what was actually going to happen. He said that as a band they are very “Disorganized” and will get a phone call when it’s time to go rehearse as everyone is very excited about getting back out on tour and will remain on the road for an unspecified amount of time which usually ends up being when everyone is sick and tired of them. Guitarist Lindsey Buckingham confirms the rumors and says they’ll hammer out a time frame sometime early next year.

If Fleetwood Mac does hit the road, it will be their first tour since 2009. Stevie Nicks went out on tour this spring in support of her new record In Your Dreams which came out in May. Buckingham is also busy touring. He will be making a stop at the Pantages Theater on September 16 in support of his new album Seeds We Sow.
